Dan McGoon - President

Dan started in the electrical trade in the summer of 1971 as a part time job in High School. Interest was high, and the part time job developed into a full time career. After the completion of an Apprenticeship program and receiving an Associates of Arts Degree from the College of Marin in Kentfield, Dan continued to work at Hannibal’s Electric, and continued in education receiving his B.A. in Business Administration from San Francisco State University in 1978.
    Also in 1978 he incorporated Hannibal’s, became the majority owner and a California State C-10 Licensed Contractor. To date, he is still working with the tools, but mainly does Project Management. Other work he does includes, but is not limited to: Design and Build Projects, Commercial Maintenance, and Tenant Improvements. In his spare time he is an instructor for the American Red Cross in First Aid, CPR, and AED, and is an Advisor for Post 306 of the Explorer program at the City of San Anselmo Police Department.



Melanie Walker

Melanie Walker started with Hannibal's Electric in January of 1988 to assist Dan and Pat McGoon in the normal day to day office operations. When Pat decided to leave the company, Melanie became the General Office Manager and Treasurer of the Corporation. She assumed all of the Accounting, Payroll, Benefits, and Financial responsibilities as well as taking charge of all office personnel. Born and raised in Marin County, she is an avid equestrian. She is active in Team Penning and other riding clubs as well as many other outdoor activities.


Hilary McGoon

Hilary McGoon first worked for Hannibal's, Inc. Electrical Construction in the summer of 2003 after graduating from Terra Linda High School in San Rafael. She then attended the University of California at Davis and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in June 2007.
    Hilary started working for Hannibal's again in June 2007 as the Environmental Coordinator, Training Coordinator, and Injury & Illness Prevention Program Administrator. She has also started a recycling program under the name Hannibal's Environmental Recycling, which provides recycling services to existing Hannibal's customers for fluorescent lamps, ballasts, emergency light batteries, and other electronics. Hilary hopes to eventually make the recycling program a separate business from Hannibal's, Inc.
